Nora Top Tutorial

This is a step by step photo tutorial on how to sew Nora Lounge Top using our #NoraTop sewing pattern.

We offer three ways of instructions for each of our sewing patterns. First is drawing instruction which you’ll find in your booklet once you purchase the pattern, two is a photo step by step tutorial which you can see below and three as a sew-along YouTube video. By doing this we want to offer variations of options depending on your preferences, but also help beginners.

This sewing pattern is available in UK 6-16 / EU 34-44 / US 2-12/ AU 6-16 and can be printed in A4, Letter and A0 size.

To start prepare three front panels.

Sew centre piece with front side panels.

Repeat the same steps with the second front panel so you have two front panels.

Sew two front panel pieces together right side to right side on the armholes and neckline only.

Cut the corners, but be careful no to cut the stitch line.

Turn whole front panel to the right side.

Prepare two back pieces.

Sew two back panel pieces together right side to right side on the armholes and back neck only.

Cut the corners, but be careful no to cut the stitch line.

Turn whole back panel to the right side.

Then push straps of the front panel inside and insert back straps through them.

Align ends of straps of the front and back panels and sew them together.

Then trim the corners and pull the front and back panels to turn the straps to the right side .

Match sides of the front and back panels together on the side seam and sew them together.

Turn it on the right side.

You can fold hem inside by 1cm and topstitch to finish off this top, but if you want to get rid of any topstitching on the front of this crop top. Reach thought the back hem opening and pin & sew front two panels together on the hem.

Then turn everything to the right side.

Fold inside by 1cm unfinished back hem and topstitch.

To finish press all of the seams.
